Apple, Cranberry, Nut and Chocolate Salad

Wholesome and light, yet sprinkled with zingy BROOKSIDE flavour.


  • 2 cups (500 mL) romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium Gala or other eating apple
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) pecan pieces
  • 8 (about 1 tablespoon or 15 mL) BROOKSIDE Dark Chocolate Acai and Blueberry Flavours, BROOKSIDE Dark Chocolate Goji and Raspberry Flavours, BROOKSIDE Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Flavour or BROOKSIDE Mango and Mangosteen Flavours
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (15 to 30 mL) Greek salad dressing


  1. Wash and dry lettuce leaves. Tear or cut lettuce leaves; place in large bowl or individual serving bowls.
  2. Wash and dry apple. Core and cut into pieces; add to salad. Add cranberries and pecan pieces.
  3. Sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Serve with Greek salad dressing. Makes 1 salad serving.*
