Crunchy, chewy, sweet and salty makes a perfect snack for your home audience on movie night.
1 cup (5-ox. pkg.) BROOKSIDE Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters
8 cups popped popcorn
1 cup salted peanuts
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
3 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Cocoa
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Butter bottom and sides of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Break any large crunchy cluster pieces into smaller pieces; set all pieces aside. Place popcorn and peanuts in pan; remove any unpopped corn. Place 2-foot length foil on countertop.
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, cocoa and butter in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Cook and stir 1 minute. Immediately drizzle mixture over popcorn and peanuts; stir mixture to coat evenly.
Quickly spread coated popcorn on foil. Sprinkle crunchy clusters over mixture, lightly pressing clusters onto coated popcorn.
Cool, uncovered, several hours or overnight. Break into pieces. Makes about 10 cups coated popcorn.
